Bridge & Arch Forms

In order to achieve a beautiful stone arch or bridge to your property you must first build it. Heritage Walls specializes in custom built wood forms to fit any arch or bridge, and can be made to suit any of your needs.

Forms are specially built to hold tons of stone to support the stone while the waller is forming an arch of some design for a bridge, arch, bee hole, nook, etc,. These have to be built strong and at the right angle for the stone to set. Unstable arches will not happen with the proper stonework and a properly built form.

Mike Patten of Heritage Walls builds his own custom wood supports for bridges. He has been building forms for over 2 years and has become quite well know within the Dry Stone Wall Association for his quality workmanship. In fact Mike has been the only person that the head of the association, John Remmington, has recruited to build custom forms for the many projects the Association has taken on including arches and bridges of many sizes and shapes.
